Day 1: Campo Maior
Morning: Journey from the starting points to Campo Maior , a border town known for its Festas do Povo (People's Festivals). Arrival and start of the visit to the historic center , entirely decorated with thousands of paper flowers, the result of the collective work of the local population. Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon: Continuation of the visit to the Festas do Povo de Campo Maior , with free time to explore the different decorated streets, watch the popular entertainment and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the opening weekend.
It will include: Travel to Badajoz. Dinner and accommodation at the Hotel Badajoz Center 4* .
Day 2: Badajoz | Elvas
Morning: Visit to Badajoz , a historic city located near the border, highlighting the Puente and Puerta de Palmas , emblematic entrances to the city, the Plaza Alta and the Alcazaba of Badajoz , one of the largest Arab fortresses in the Iberian Peninsula. Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon: Continue to Elvas , a city classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Free time to explore the historic center , with the opportunity to appreciate its rich military and architectural heritage.
Return to the starting points.
