Departure from the starting points to Santiago do Escoural , a village in the municipality of Montemor-o-Novo with a rich history spanning centuries and enchanting natural beauty. Stop in the village center for a walking tour. Continue to visit the Santiago do Escoural Caves , for a journey through time that dates back hundreds of thousands of years, taking you directly to the Paleolithic era. This site, classified as a national monument, was discovered in 1963, becoming the first location in Portugal to reveal traces of Paleolithic rock art.

Departure for a visit to the Anta Grande do Zambujeiro , a megalithic dolmen that illustrates the technical skill and complexity of the social organization of the Neolithic populations who built it. Continuation to the Almendres Cromlech . Located in the parish of Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe, this cromlech is one of the largest and most important megalithic monuments in the world. The megalithic monument consists of two distinct enclosures, built between the end of the 6th and the 3rd millennium BC. Enveloped in an aura of mystery and enchantment, the Almendres Cromlech allows an authentic journey back to a time when humankind lived in perfect communion with nature.
