PROGRAM:
Morning: Arrábida Convent and Sesimbra
In the morning, we embark on a journey to the Arrábida Convent, one of the most enigmatic places in Portugal, hidden among the rocks and shrouded in legends. Founded in 1542, the convent was a refuge for Franciscan friars, who lived there in austerity, in cells carved into the rock. The guided tour takes us through the secret corners of this convent, where spirituality and nature intertwine.
After visiting the convent, we went to Sesimbra, where we enjoyed a seaside lunch, with a special focus on fresh and delicious fish dishes.
Afternoon: Boat trip through the caves of Sesimbra
In the afternoon, we embarked on a boat trip through the caves of Sesimbra. For about 2 hours, we sailed through crystal-clear waters, discovering secret beaches, imposing cliffs, and hidden caves that extend to Cabo Espichel. This tour offers a unique perspective of the coast and a feeling of immersion in a true natural paradise.
