PROGRAM
Day 1: Loulé | Faro
Morning: Journey from the departure points. Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon: Visit to the town of Loulé, including the Municipal Market, the streets of the historic center, and the medieval Castle. In Faro, walking tour of the Old Town, highlighting the Cathedral, the Municipal Museum, the Marina, and the streets of the historic center.
Evening: Dinner at a local restaurant and accommodation.
Day 2: Ria Formosa | Olhão | São Brás de Alportel | Estói
Morning: Visit to the city of Olhão, with its traditional market and Moorish-influenced historic center. Boat tour through the Ria Formosa Natural Park, with a 45-minute stop at Culatra Island to enjoy the beaches and tranquil atmosphere.
Afternoon: Panoramic tour of the Caldeirão Mountains, with stops in São Brás de Alportel and Estói, highlighting the Estói Palace and its gardens.
Evening: Dinner and accommodation.
Day 3: Tavira | Cacela Velha
Morning: Discovery walk in Tavira. Visit to the Roman Bridge, an iconic landmark of the city, and the Tavira Castle. Tasting of traditional almond cakes.
Afternoon: Continuation to Cacela Velha, a charming village in the heart of the Ria Formosa Natural Park. Climb to the Church of Nossa Senhora da Assunção. Free time to stroll through the peaceful streets and enjoy the village's charm.
Evening: Dinner and accommodation.
Day 4: Vila Real de Santo António | Alcoutim
Morning: Discovery walk in Vila Real de Santo António, exploring its 18th-century designed historic center, with emphasis on Praça Marquês de Pombal. Walk along the riverside, next to the Guadiana River, with time to enjoy the view of the Spanish shore. Continue to Alcoutim for a visit to the Alcoutim Castle, offering stunning views of the Guadiana River and surrounding landscape. Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon: Return to the departure points.

Be able to keep up with a group with a moderate walking pace, sometimes on uneven surfaces and with possible stairs.
Be able to follow a medium-paced program, which may involve early departures for several days and returning to the hotel only at the end of the day for dinner and rest.
Feel comfortable following a guide and respecting all instructions given.
Tolerate some temperature changes and unstable weather.
