This itinerary unveils the best of the Southwest Alentejo, blending nature, culture, and history. It begins in Porto Covo, known for its pristine beaches and picturesque atmosphere, followed by Vila Nova de Milfontes, where the Mira River meets the Atlantic. Continuing to Aljezur, famous for its castle and proximity to some of the most beautiful beaches on the Vicentine Coast. In Odeceixe, the charm of the village is complemented by its iconic crescent-shaped beach. Zambujeira do Mar offers a magnificent view over the sea and the typical hospitality of the region. Monte Ruivo and Bordeira stand out for their tranquility and connection to nature, while Carrapateira impresses with breathtaking landscapes. The itinerary culminates in Monchique, where the mountainous scenery, thermal waters, and local heritage offer a memorable and enriching ending.

PROGRAM:

Day 1: Porto Covo | Vila Nova de Milfontes

Morning: Journey from the departure locations to Porto Covo. Lunch at a local restaurant. Panoramic tour of Porto Covo, highlighting Samoqueira Beach and the view of Pessegueiro Island. Walking tour through the village center, with its typical streets and traditional architecture.

Afternoon: Visit to Vila Nova de Milfontes, discovering its beaches, the Mira River, and the historic center. Continue to Cabo Sardão, known for its impressive cliffs and coastal landscapes, ideal for moments of contemplation at the end of the day.

Evening: Dinner and accommodation in a hotel.

Day 2: Aljezur | Odeceixe | Zambujeira do Mar

Morning: Visit to the village of Aljezur, with a walk through the historic center and a climb to the octagonal castle for panoramic views of the Serra do Espinhaço de Cão and the Atlantic coast, complemented by the region's rich landscapes. Lunch at a local restaurant, featuring typical dishes made with fresh ingredients and local flavors.

Afternoon: Discover the Praia de Odeceixe, with free time for a walk along the shore, to enjoy the landscape, or relax. Continue to Zambujeira do Mar, with a visit to the beach and the viewpoint, where the cliffs offer a magnificent setting with the sunset over the Atlantic.

Evening: Dinner and accommodation in a hotel.

Day 3: Monchique

Morning: Walk through the Serra de Monchique, known as the "Garden of the Algarve," with a visit to the gardens of the Monchique Thermal Springs, dating back to Roman times. Lunch at a local restaurant, with regional typical dishes.

Afternoon: Visit to the Miradouro da Foia, the highest point in the Algarve, offering panoramic views from Cabo de São Vicente to Faro. Return to the departure locations.

Wait for our confirmation email with the program and details for the deposit payment.
Make the deposit payment within 5 days as per the amount specified for each itinerary in order to confirm your booking. If there is no contact or deposit payment, the reservation will be canceled.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the departure date.

Deposit Refund

The deposit paid can be fully refunded up to 30 days before departure

.From 30 to 15 days before departure, 50% of the deposit will be retained

.From 14 to 0 days before departure, 100% of the deposit will be retained.

Full Payment Refund

If the full trip has been paid, the cancellation conditions are as follows:

• Up to 30 days before departure – Full refund of the amount paid.

• From 29 to 15 days before departure – 50% of the amount paid will be retained.

• From 14 to 0 days before departure – 100% of the amount paid will be retained.

Your group booking will only be confirmed after the deposit payment for the chosen circuit.
The full payment for the booking and submission of all required information must be completed 30 days before the departure date.

Bookings up to 30 days before departure

The prices quoted include:

Tour by coach.

7 meals with a full menu (starters or soup, main course, dessert, coffee, wine and water at mealtimes. Some restaurants offer juices and soft drinks on the menu.

SEATS ON THE BUS:

Seats on the bus are pre-allocated in order of where you get on the bus and date of deposit payment.

RYTHM: Medium

To take part in this route, you should:

Feel comfortable with several days of visits and an itinerary that alternates bus journeys and short walks in the places visited.
Be able to accompany a group at an average walking pace on sometimes uneven ground and with occasional stairs.
Being able to follow a medium-paced programme, which may involve getting up early on several days and only arriving at the hotel at the end of the day for dinner and a rest.
Feel comfortable accompanying a guide and respect all the instructions given.
Tolerate some temperature changes and unstable weather.
