Discover the authenticity and charm of Galicia on this captivating 4-day itinerary. Day 1: Ourense | Allariz


Morning: Journey from the starting points (~6h 30min). Lunch at a restaurant in Ourense.

Afternoon: Visit to the historic center of Ourense , highlighting the Cathedral of San Martiño , one of the main religious monuments of Galicia, and the Roman Baths of Ourense , a testament to the city's thermal past. Continue to Allariz (~30 min.), with a stroll through its well-preserved historic center , marked by medieval streets and charming squares.

The package includes: Dinner and accommodation at the 4-star Hotel Exe Auriense in Ourense (approximately 30 minutes).



Day 2: Oseira | Carballiño | San Amaro


Morning: In Oseira (~45 min.) visit to the Monastery of Santa María de Oseira , one of the most important Cistercian monasteries in the Iberian Peninsula, known for its architectural grandeur and serene atmosphere. Continue to Carballiño (~30 min.), with a stroll through the historic center of this traditional village. Lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon: In San Amaro (~15 min.), visit the Archaeological Park of the Castreja Culture, an interpretive space dedicated to the Castro culture, allowing you to learn about the ancient fortified settlements of the northwestern peninsula.

The package includes: Dinner and accommodation at the 4-star Hotel Exe Auriense in Ourense (approximately 30 minutes).



Day 3: Ribeira Sacra | Castro Caldelas


Morning: Departure for the Ribeira Sacra region (~30 min.). Visit to the Monastery of São Pedro de Rocas , the oldest monastery in Galicia, partially carved into the rock. Boat trip through the canyons of the Sil River, offering unique views. Lunch in Parada de Sil (~45 min.).

Afternoon: Visit to Adega Vella , including a tasting of 6 different wines. Stop at a viewpoint in the region. Continue to Castro Caldelas (~30 min.), with a visit to the historic center and its Medieval Castle , a symbol of the village.

It will include: Dinner and accommodation at the Hotel Exe Auriense 4* in Ourense (~1 hour).



Day 4: Ribadavia


Morning: Visit to the historic center of Ribadavia (~30 min.), a town of great historical importance, known for its Jewish heritage and well-preserved medieval streets.

Afternoon: Lunch in Valença and return to the places of origin (~6h).

To participate in this itinerary, you must:

  • Feel comfortable with several days of visits and an itinerary that alternates between bus journeys and short walks in the historical centers of the places visited.

  • To be able to keep up with a group at an average walking pace on sometimes uneven terrain and occasional stairs.

  • Being able to follow a moderate-paced program, which may involve getting up early for several days and only arriving at the hotel at the end of the day to have dinner and rest.

  • Feel comfortable following a guide and respecting all instructions given.

  • Tolerate some temperature changes and unstable weather.

Accommodation provided at the Hotel Exe Auriense 4* or similar.

If, for reasons beyond our control, accommodation is not possible at the indicated hotels, the alternative accommodation will always be of a similar category, although the services offered by each hotel may vary.
