The Portas de Ródão are a fascinating geological formation located on the Tagus River, near the village of Vila Velha de Ródão. It is one of the most incredible landscapes in Portugal and is often described as one of its natural wonders. In addition to its rich biodiversity, with many endemic plant and animal species, the region has a unique culture, intimately linked to and influenced by its distinctive geography. You won't want to miss this tour!

PROGRAM

Departure from the points of origin to Vila Velha de Ródão. Passing by the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Confidence and the Cabril Dam. Visit to the Rock Art Interpretation Centre.

Please arrive at the Vila Velha de Ródão pier at 12:00 PM. Board the MAGNIFICENT PORTAS DE RÓDÃO CRUISE with lunch on board (full menu). During the boat trip, we will be able to appreciate the Portas de Ródão National Natural Monument, observing the vast colony of griffon vultures found there, among other species, the Conhal do Arneiro, the Fishermen's Island, and the Fonte das Virtudes.

Next, a visit to Vila Velha de Rodão, including King Wamba's Castle. Visit to the Lagar de Varas de Rodão (olive press), with a guided tour and sale of regional products. Walking tour in the vicinity, along the riverbank, allowing you to appreciate the beauty of the landscape. Return to the places of origin.

BOOKING PROCEDURE

PRE-BOOKING:

Pre-booking is done by filling out the pre-booking form for the respective trip. After completing the form, a 50% deposit of the trip cost must be paid within 5 days for the booking to be considered effective. If we fail to contact you and pay the deposit, we will consider the pre-booking void. The remaining 50% must be paid after receiving a trip confirmation email from Culturália .

Note: If the trip does not take place due to an insufficient number of participants, the deposit paid will be refunded within 5 days.
