This 2-day itinerary along the Silver Coast offers a journey through some of Portugal's most beautiful beaches and coastal villages. The adventure begins in Peniche, with its impressive cliffs and maritime traditions, continuing to Foz do Arelho, where the lagoon and the sea meet in breathtaking landscapes. We then proceed to São Martinho do Porto, with its shell-shaped bay, and Nazaré, famous for its giant waves and fishing culture. The second day takes us to São Pedro de Moel, with its serene beaches and captivating nature, ending in Vieira de Leiria, where the tranquility of the sea blends with the simplicity of local traditions.
PROGRAM

Day 1: Peniche | Foz do Arelho | São Martinho do Porto
Morning: Departure from the starting points towards Peniche. Walking tour of the historic center and visit to the Peniche fortress. Continue to Foz do Arelho . Located next to the stunning Óbidos Lagoon , this picturesque village captivates visitors with its golden sandy beaches and serene waters, creating an idyllic setting for contemplation. Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon: Visit to São Martinho do Porto . This picturesque coastal village offers a golden sandy beach and calm waters, making it a sanctuary for lovers of seaside tranquility.
It will include: Dinner and hotel accommodation.
Day 2: Nazaré | São Pedro de Moel | Vieira de Leiria
Morning: Departure for Nazaré , a fishing village steeped in legends and memories, famous for its imposing waves and the fishermen who brave the Atlantic. Visit to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Nazaré, at the top of the promontory, from where you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views. Continue to São Pedro de Moel, a coastal village that enchants with its serene beauty and welcoming atmosphere. Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon: Continue to Vieira de Leiria. Its extensive dunes and coastal landscapes create an authentic setting, while the simplicity of local life captivates visitors. Return to the places of origin.

To take part in this route, you should:
Feel comfortable with several days of visits and an itinerary that alternates bus journeys and short walks in the places visited.
Be able to accompany a group at an average walking pace on sometimes uneven ground and with occasional stairs.
Being able to follow a medium-paced programme, which may involve getting up early on several days and only arriving at the hotel at the end of the day for dinner and a rest.
Feel comfortable accompanying a guide and respect all the instructions given.
Tolerate some temperature changes and unstable weather.
