PROGRAMME:
Day 1: Vila Real | Vidago | Chaves
Travel from the origin cities to Vila Real. Lunch at a local restaurant. Brief tour of the Historic Centre. Continue to Vidago, with a visit to the gardens of the Vidago Palace. Discovery of the Carvalhelhos springs. Visit to the historic centre of Chaves, including the Rua Direita and the Roman Bridge of Trajan. Dinner at a local restaurant. Accommodation in a 4* hotel in Casas Novas.
Day 2: Boticas | Vilarinho de Negrões | Montalegre
In the morning, visit the beautiful village of Boticas, with a tour including the historic centre, Nadir Afonso Arts Centre, Rural Museum, and Castreja Sculpture Centre. Lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to visit the Alto Rabagão Reservoir, one of the most beautiful landscapes in Northern Portugal. Stroll through Vilarinho de Negrões, which benefits from a special setting along the shores of the reservoir. Continue to Montalegre for participation in the Friday the 13th festivities. Dinner at a local restaurant. Accommodation in a 4* hotel in Casas Novas.
Day 3: Ponte da Misarela | Fafião
In the morning, departure to the Misarela Bridge, located between the municipalities of Montalegre and Vieira do Minho, also known as the Devil's Bridge, one of the most mystical places in Portugal. Next, visit the village of Fafião, including the Lobo de Fafião and the Fojo dos Lobos. Lunch at a local restaurant. Return to the origin cities.

To take part in this route, you should:
Feel comfortable with several days of visits and an itinerary that alternates bus journeys and short walks in the places visited.
Be able to accompany a group at an average walking pace on sometimes uneven ground and with occasional stairs.
Being able to follow a medium-paced programme, which may involve getting up early on several days and only arriving at the hotel at the end of the day for dinner and a rest.
Feel comfortable accompanying a guide and respect all the instructions given.
Tolerate some temperature changes and unstable weather.
